“Helmet4Life” is an initiative supported by the TotalEnergies Foundation program and locally by 40 TotalEnergies affiliates across three continents. In 2023 and 2024, 100 000 helmets are handed out in 34 countries in Africa, Asia Pacific (India, Cambodia, Vietnam) and in America (Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Chile). The Helmet distribution campaign is accompanied by a unique road safety awareness session, particularly focused on motorized two-wheelers.
TotalEnergies Marketing Jamaica Limited, through its "Helmets for Life" initiative, has been on a mission to promote road safety across the island. In partnership with the Kiwanis Club, we’ve successfully distributed over 1,600 helmets to riders in various communities. This effort is part of our broader commitment to reducing accidents and ensuring that everyone who takes to the road is equipped with the protection they need.
The initiative is more than just about handing out helmets; it's about fostering a culture of safety and responsibility. Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable on the road, and by providing high-quality helmets, we’re helping to safeguard lives and encourage safer riding habits. Each helmet we distribute is a step towards reducing the risks that come with everyday commutes and long-distance travel alike.
At TotalEnergies Marketing Jamaica Limited, we’re dedicated to making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. "Helmet4Life" reflects our belief that safety is as important as sustainability and progress. By empowering riders with essential safety gear, we’re not just fuelling vehicles but also fuelling care, safety, and a brighter future for Jamaica’s roads.
